Goddess Chandraghanta Chandra is the moon which represents our mind. As the moon waxes and wanes so do our thoughts, our emotions, creating a wavering mind. Ghanta means a bell, a gong, the sound of which is deep, rooted, and one directed. The call of Goddess Chandraghanta is to become quiet and still within ourselves so we can get rooted with a one directed focus in that awareness. Then the thoughts can come and go but we remain still. From this stillness arises a natural peace, and a sense of calm which allows us to move more gracefully through our life.
